Area of research interest: history of medicine in the colonial and post colonial India
Specialization in the history of madness and asylum in India during the nineteenth century. Presently I am researching on 'Unmada' ( madness) in Ayurveda and the evolution of ayurvedic pharmacology for the treatment.
